For two consecutive days, Coidaura Terra was present at strategic meetings that addressed two key pillars for the energy transition in Mexico: sustainability and women's leadership.
As part of Mexico Tech Week, the dialogue focused on creating more human and inclusive spaces by identifying gender gaps and the need to translate these diagnostics into concrete actions. In this context, initiatives like Ovulina, focused on inclusion, were highlighted, as well as the transformative role of women driving investment in startups through networks such as Epic Angels.
Later, at Energy Day organized by the British Chamber of Commerce in Mexico, the challenges and perspectives of the future of sustainable energy in the country were discussed. The event brought together energy sector experts and recognized the leadership of women who are leading change processes today, including Alma América Porres Luna, Angélica Ruiz, Andrea Hurtado Epstein, Diana Méndez del Águila, Edna Osuna, and Sheila Guadalupe Cadena Nieto.
During the discussions, it was emphasized that the hydrocarbons sector continues to face an uncertain landscape, although with ambitious goals for 2030. To achieve these goals, the importance of strengthening collaboration between the public and private sectors, advancing access to unconventional resources, and ensuring greater legal certainty was underscored, all under a vision of shared benefits and energy justice, where communities and socio-environmental impacts play an increasingly important role.
Coidaura Terra’s presence at these events reaffirms its commitment to staying close to the dialogues that drive a more sustainable, inclusive, and socially focused energy transition.
